Johnson County Supervisors Considering Funding for Iowa City Youth Center

(Johnson County, IA) -- A new youth center at the former Kinderfarm in Iowa City could receive a million dollars in funding.

Johnson County Supervisors are considering supporting the million dollars in funding to remodel the youth center, which closed on July 1st of this year. The county is working with CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank as well as United Action for Youth on how those funds would be used in the remodeling process.

Johnson County Supervisors are expected to vote on the proposal sometime this month.
