Cedar Rapids School Board Approves November 7th Bond Referendum

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The final step in getting the Cedar Rapids School Board's bond referendum before the voters took place last night. The Board voted unanimously to file a petition with elections officials today to put the bond issue on the November 7th ballot. Voters will decide whether to greenlight the 220-million dollar bond to build a new middle school and update and renovate other district buildings.
