(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A threat has closed Cedar Rapids Schools for the day. The Iowa Department of Public Safety, Cedar Rapids police, and the FBI are investigating a threat to carry out a shooting at Jefferson High School. Iowa News Now was sent a Snapchat message by a viewer saying they found an audio message online making the claim. The voice says he will shoot any Black people on campus. The school board decided to close all schools today while an investigation into the claim is made.
