(Altoona, IA) -- Adventureland in Altoona is hosting a very unusual contest tomorrow (Saturday) as part of Phantom Fall Fest. Contestants will compete in an earthworm eating contest. The first to finish wins $1,000 in prizes. The winner will also receive a custom cake from Andrew Fuller, winner of season one of Netflix's "Is it Cake?" show. Fuller will emcee the contest and determine the winner. Contestants must be 18 years old or older.

Alex Payne of Adventureland says the worms come from Uncle Jim's earthworm farm in Pennsylvania and are not "night crawler" size, but are at least two inches in length.

The contest begins at 3:30 p.m. at the end of Main Street at Adventureland. Contestants can sign up on site.

The Phantom's Earthworm Challenge begins the third weekend of Phantom Fall Fest, which takes place Saturdays and Sundays thru the end of October.
