You have probably seen Calyn Thompson and me on my Need To Know With Jeff Angelo Facebook page at the Iowa State Fair. Calyn and I love the State Fair and I am always glad to include her in my video shenanigans at the Fair. Or perhaps you've seen pictures of Calyn at Oktoberfest in Des Moines, where I serve as burgermeister. In short: she's my friend. And I've worried about her during her year-long, very public battle against breast cancer.
