(East Moline, IA) -- East Moline city officials are introducing a new website that will keep residents informed about a new project.
The Greater Downtown Revitalization project will work on improving connections between the downtown core at 15th Avenue, The Rust Belt area at 12th Avenue and The bend at the riverfront.
According to a news release from the city, the website will continually update citizens about project information updates and the design in the downtown area.
The project is an extension of the city’s Greater Downtown Streetscape Master Plan, which was completed in 2020.
Mayor Reggie Freeman says the website allows the public to get involved in shaping the greater downtown transformation.
There will be future meetings where residents can provide input about the renovations.
