Davenport Man Arrested In Connection To Shooting

(Davenport, IA) -- A Davenport man is in handcuffs, accused of shooting and injuring a person in September at the Relax Inn.

Police say 59-year-old Joseph Fitzgerald Dodd was arrested Monday, October 16th and is now facing several charges.

They say Dodd shot the victim in the back with a revolver on September 17th following an argument in the second floor hallway at the Relax Inn.

Dodd has a history of multiple felony convictions.

He is being held in the Scott County Jail.
