Big Change Expected In Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Weather

The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service Office In Valley say a cold front moving through Friday morning will lead to a twenty to thirty degree temperature drop with windy conditions.

Beginning Saturday morning, precipitation in the form of snow, sleet, freezing drizzle, and rain will be possible.

The forecasters say Northeast Nebraska has the highest chance of seeing accumulating snowfall, while southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa will see more of a rain event.

Temperatures stay cool going into early next week, but more sunshine returns.
