Destination Iowa Program to Receive $6.5 Million to Boost Iowa Tourism

(Des Moines, IA) -- A program to boost Iowa tourism is getting millions of additional funding.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds says Destination Iowa will receive an additional $6.5 million dollars in funding for land acquisition projects and construction on recreational trails. Cities, counties, and non-profit organizations are eligible to apply for the funding, with applications due March 1st of next year.
