Illinois Quad Cities Schools Improving

(Moline, IL) -- A performance report on Illinois Quad Cities schools is out. On the positive side, Moline and United Township high schools had above-average graduation rates. Rock Island High School was 10-percent below the state average at 77-percent. But, chronic absenteeism is an issue. 50-percent of Rocky students miss four weeks or more of classes. Chronic absenteeism at Moline is 42%, and at UT it's 40%.
