Linn County Board Of Supervisors Approves Funding For New Position

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Linn County Board of Supervisors is confirming the funding for the hire of a position for the Homeless Coalition.

The three-year position will be funded though a partnership with the city of Cedar Rapids, a total of $225,000 from the county supervisors, a request by the board to use funding from the American Rescue Plan Act as well as funding from the city's fiscal budget.

Once the job is filled, it will be in effect until the end of 2026.
