Des Moines Voters Pick Connie Boesen To Be Next Mayor

(Des Moines, IA) -- Connie Boesen has been elected mayor of Des Moines. Boesen won the race with 48% of the vote. Councilmember Josh Mandelbaum came in second with 45%.

Boesen will succeed long time mayor Frank Cownie.
