CR Seeing Big Economic Growth From NJCAA Women's Volleyball Championship

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids is seeing enormous economic growth from this year's NJCAA Women's Volleyball Championships.

Cedar Rapids Sports Tourism Director Jay Fanta says the next two weeks of games are predicted to generate a million dollars in the city.

There will be over 20 teams playing in this years championship.

Money will be generated through hospitality businesses such as hotels, bars, and restaurants.
