House Fire In Iowa City Being Investigated

(Iowa City, IA) -- A house fire in Iowa City is being investigated.

According to the city, fire crews responded to a home at 3640 Donegal Court Monday at around 10:30 a.m. to find flames and smoke emerging from the front door.

Firefighters said it took them about 16 minutes to extinguish the flames.

No one was home during the time of the fire and there were no injuries were reported.

The Iowa City Fire Department, Iowa City Police Department, Coralville Fire Department, Johnson County Joint Emergency Communication Center, and the Johnson County Ambulance Service all assisted in the response.
