Collapsed Davenport Building Owner Charged With DUI

(Bettendorf, IA) -- The owner of a collapsed Davenport apartment building is now facing a DUI charge.

Bettendorf Police say they pulled over a vehicle driven by Andrew Wold on Wednesday night for travelling 21 miles over the speed limit. A police report says Wold failed a field sobriety test and showed multiple signs of impairment. He now faces a year in prison.

Three people died and several were left homeless when The Davenport apartment building partially collapsed Memorial Day weekend.
