A Salute To Our Military On Pearl Harbor Day!

On December 7th, 1941, at approximately 7:48 AM local time, hundreds of Japanese aircraft descended upon Pearl Harbor. The attack consisted of two waves, with the first targeting the American fleet and the second focusing on airfields and other installations. The attack lasted for approximately two hours and resulted in the destruction or damage of nearly 20 American naval vessels, including eight battleships, and over 300 airplanes. Over 2,400 American servicemen were killed and over 1,000 were injured.

On my show on this day of rememberence, Senator Joni Ernst pays tribute to our military, an Iowan salutes the heroic actions of his dad, and Marine Todd Boeding tackles the difficult topic of veteran suicides.
