Nebraska Regulators Seek 911 Answers

The Nebraska Public Service Commission will hold hearings concerning the 911 outages that impacted parts of the state earlier this year.

A hearing will take place on December 20th at 9:00 a.m. dealing with an August 31st outage caused by a fire at Windstream's Lincoln facility, and on January 4th, at 9:30 a.m., there will be a hearing on the September 3rd outage that impacted Lumen operations in regard to emergency communications.

Both hearings will be held in the Nebraska Public Service Commission hearing room.

Commissioners will ask questions during the hearings, and any decisions about the outage investigations will be made at a later date.
