One Person Hurt in Cedar Rapids Apartment Fire Wednesday Night

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is recovering after being hurt in an apartment fire in Cedar Rapids Wednesday night.

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department says the fire was reported around 10:45pm Tuesday at an apartment complex in the 300 block of 30th St Drive SE. Investigators say the fire only damaged one apartment and was quickly put out. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined and remains under investigation.
