(Davenport, IA) -- An Illinois meat distributor is recalling nearly seven-thousand pounds of meat.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says ground beef shipped from Valley Meats in Coal Valley, Illinois, near the Quad Cities, could be contaminated with E. coli.

The U.S.D.A. suggests the beef was shipped to commercial customers in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, and not residential consumers.

As of Wednesday, no illnesses have been reported.
