(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Drivers should expect slippery roads this morning in the Cedar Rapids region as crews continue to clean-up from yesterday's first major storm of the season.

Several streets remain slick, and many side streets and alleys remain unplowed.

Cedar Rapids will attempt to resume garbage pickup today while cancelling recycling and yard waste pickup until next week.

Several outbound flights from Eastern Iowa Airport are delayed this morning but so far none have been cancelled.

The Iowa 5-1-1 website still reports several roads and interstates in Eastern Iowa as partially to completely snow-covered. Travel isn't advised on a section of I-80 from West Branch through Iowa City, west to Oxford due to multiple accidents and whiteout conditions.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Alex Gibbs says another inch or two of snow is expected tonight, and another major snowfall is on the way Thursday night into Friday.
