(Linn County, IA) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Office is lifting a tow ban for all streets in Linn County.

The first snow storm of the season caused dangerous road conditions causing multiple accidents.

The sheriff's office announced the ban on the city's website Tuesday, saying that all roads in Linn County will be affected.

As of 10:00 a.m. this morning, the ban is no longer in effect.

The Iowa DOT is still advising people to avoid a portion of Interstate-80 from West Branch to Coralville due to dangerous road conditions.
