Iowa Gas Prices Up to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.84 a gallon, a jump of nine cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.58
  • Ames: $2.99
  • Cedar Rapids: $2.92
  • Iowa City: $2.95
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.84
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.07
  • Dubuque: $3.07
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $2.95
  • Sioux City: $2.88
  • Council Bluffs: $2.78

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.14 a gallon.
