(Rock Island, IL) -- Police are investigating social media posts targeting Rock Island High School.
A major police presence was on-site at the school yesterday after District officials said they were made aware of a photo circulating on social media.
Longfellow Elementary School in Rock Island was placed on lockdown Tuesday after a report of someone on the property with a firearm. An unarmed teen was taken into custody.
