Iowa Gas Prices Hold Steady to Start the Week, Up From Last Month

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up slightly to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.93 a gallon, up two cents from this time last week and up 21 cents from a month ago. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.77
  • Ames: $3.13
  • Cedar Rapids: $2.96
  • Iowa City: $3.01
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.97
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.30
  • Dubuque: $3.16
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.03
  • Sioux City: $2.90
  • Council Bluffs: $2.87

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.27 a gallon.
