Lincoln First Responders Help Save Life

Quick work by a citizen and police and fire helps get a man to a hospital.

Lincoln Police went to 82nd & Leighton on a medical call Monday afternoon after a 66-year-old man had collapsed and CPR was in progress.

The first police officer to arrive grabbed the AED pack from his cruiser, went inside, and found a female conductng CPR.

Police say the officer used the AED and took over CPR until Lincoln Fire & Rescue arrived and took over life-saving measures.

Lincoln Police say the man was then hospitalized and at last check was in stable condition.
