The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service office in Valley say record high temperatures are in the forecast for today, then a return to Winter for Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says an extreme fire danger will exist across the entire Omaha/Council Bluffs region Monday due to record warmth and dry, breezy conditions.
A "red flag" warning will be in effect through 6 pm.
No outdoor burning should occur today.
A burn ban is also in effect in Douglas County.
