(Davenport, IA) -- At least ten new Quad Citians will sort of age slower than the rest of us.

Ten new babies were born yesterday at the Genesis BirthCenter in Davenport. The new arrivals have the distinction of having a February 29th birthday, that only comes around once every four years.

BirthCenter staff say it was an unusually busy day. An average of four or five births occur per day in February.

The odds of being born on Leap Day are about one-in just over 14-hundred.
