Omaha Police are investigating what they now call a homicide.
Officers originally went to the scene near 12th and Howard Streets on a "nature unknown" call around 12:30 Monday morning and found 24-year old Ja'Sean Coleman of Omaha in a Jeep suffering from a gunshot wound.
Omaha Fire Department paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where he later died.
