(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Fire Investigators look for the cause of a South Omaha house fire that displaces a number of people now being helped by the Red Cross.
There were no injuries in the fire late Wednesday night near 26th and Washington Streets.
As they pulled up, firefighters saw fire and smoke on the porch of the single - family residence.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire on the porch and eves area under control.
The fire department estimates damage at 20-thousand dollars.
