(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is dead and several others hurt after a fire in Cedar Rapids Tuesday.
Investigators say firefighters were able to pull a 78 year-old man from the home, and Cedar Rapids Police were able to rescue another man from the fire. The 78 year-old man died of his injuries, while the other is expected to recover. Cedar Rapids Police say two officers were hurt during the rescue and treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
