The Omaha Office of the National Weather Service in Valley says the threat for severe weather is increasing for portions of the Omaha/Council Bluffs region for Saturday afternoon and evening, but the Meteorologists say questions remain on how far east this threat will extend.
Areas of very high fire danger are forecast for Friday afternoon because of dry conditions.
Ahead of a line of precipitation, a Fire Weather Watch will be in effect Saturday afternoon into the evening for eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
