Residents Get First Look At Plans For Cedar Rapids' Czech Village

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids residents got a look at the plans for revitalizing the Czech Village last night, 16 years after the 2008 flood.

Ken Dekeyser with the City of Cedar Rapids tells Iowa's News Now that the Lightline Loop Project will rebuild the Roundhouse, and include pedestrian paths, additional parking, and space for events of all sizes.

Once designs are firmed up later this year, construction should begin next spring.
