(Linn County, IA) -- Linn-Marr School District officials will look to cut 2.5-million dollars and 50 staff members from their budget when they meet today.

Superintendent Amy Kortemeyer cites declining enrollment, state underfunding, and the end of pandemic relief funds as reasons for the cuts.

Linn-Marr lost 118 students this school year. Fifty-four of those to private schools using state-funded tuition.
