A Wind Advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday for the Omaha/Council Bluffs area
The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley say strong south to southwest winds will continue to affect much of the area Monday with gusts up to 40 to 45 mph.
The winds will make travel difficult for high-profile vehicles, and isolated power outages are possible.
A risk for wildfires will also exist in areas, which remain dry.
