The tractor-trailer involved in the smuggling of illegal aliens in Texas has an Iowa license plate.
The Semi was found in a Walmart parking lot with ten dead inside and another 30 crammed in there. 20 of those were taken to hospital.
The outside temperatures had climbed to more than 100 degrees and the air conditioner was not working.
So far police have failed to identify the country of origin or the destination of the illegals.
They did however, find the tractor-trailer had an Iowa license plate and is registered to Pyle Transportation Inc. of Schaller, Iowa.
Owner Brian Pyle told The Washington Post that the Louisville, Kentucky-based driver owned the truck and was on his first trip. He managed his own deliveries and operated largely independently from the company.
