Kelly Foss of the Downtown Farmers Market joined us in the studio this morning just after the 8:30 news.  Today is Wednesday...that means from 10:30 to 1:30 today you can attend a special Farmers Market on 13th Street between Locust and Grand in downtown Des Moines.  Take your lunch hour to shop a smaller version of the Saturday market.  There are only two more Wednesday markets left, so take advantage of the beautiful weather today!  Also, the hours will bee changing for the Saturday morning Farmers Market starting in October....they will be 8AM-noon rather than the regular 7AM-noon.  The Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market has been named the number 2 market in the country out of 8,000 Farmers Market in the U.S.

Tomorrow morning we'll have more Quilt Show tickets to give away and we'll find out more about the new National Geographic display at the Science Center of Iowa.

Enjoy the gorgeous weather!
