Reynolds orders review of Iowa Finance Authority

DES MOINES, Iowa  – Gov. Kim Reynolds is ordering an independent review of the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) amid allegations of sexual harassment by former IFA Executive Director David Jamison.

Des Moines attorney Mark Weinhardt will head the investigation and will submit a report to the Governor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office. Weinhardt has been asked to investigate the conduct that led to Jamison’s firing in March, and any similar incidents or conduct during his tenure as executive director.

“Since the victims reported these horrible allegations, their safety and privacy have been my top priority,” Gov. Reynolds said. “Now that one of the victims has made the decision to release the specific details of the harassment, I am ordering an independent review of David Jamison’s conduct and what was known about it.”
