Letter accusing former Iowa Agency leader released

DES MOINES, Iowa- Details are coming out about what prompted the firing last month of Iowa Finance Authority Director David Jamison.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds' office has released a letter listing dozens of instances of inappropriate behavior, including sexual jokes and innuendo  toward an Iowa Finance Authority employee.   

The complaint cites numerous examples of sexual comments.   The author of the letter claimed Jamison's behavior had been a problem for years, had escalated, must stop.    The author of  the letter also said it was not safe for women to be around Jamison, and that she did not feel safe.

Jamison was fired March 24th.
