UPDATE: Des Moines police say they believe they have identified two possible suspects, accused of robbing a mail truck in Beaverdale last week.
Police say the carrier had parked in the 35-hundred block of Urbandale Avenue, left to deliver mail, returned 20-minutes later and noticed a window had been smashed.
Police say the carrier’s personal belongings and some mail had been stolen.
Officials are still investigating, with the help of U.S. postal inspectors. The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
