The state auditor says a former University of Iowa employee misspent about $10-thousand dollars in improper payments.
A special investigation released Thursday morning shows former director of the I-T office in the Athletics Department Patrick Delin had over $6-thousand dollars in improper payments including personal purchases, cell phone charges and nearly $3-thousand dollars in improper travel payments.
Copies of the report are being given to University officials and government attorneys for possible charges.
