.A Johnston bank was robbed Friday morning.
Police were notified of an armed robbery at the Bank Iowa at 5525 Merle Hay Road in Johnston about 10:30am.
A white man entered the bank, flashed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled east on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Cops were not able to find him.
