A man is hospitalized after being hit by a pickup truck last night.
Des Moines Police say the man was in critical condition when he was taken to Methodist Hospital after being hit by the pickup truck at Sixth Avenue at Park just before eight Saturday night.
The pickup was making at turn at the intersection when it hit the pedestrian. Police say the driver of the truck was not drinking.
