A special investigation by the State Auditor released Wednesday shows thousands of dollars in misspending at the Earlville Athletic Association.
The report found unauthorized payments issued by the former Secretary/Treasurer Kimberly Snyder.
Investigators found over $8-thousand dollars in utility, mortgage and car payments for Snyder's home and vehicle. There was also an unauthorized payment of $5-hundred dollars to Ms Snyder's husband.
The report indicates even more misspending may have happened over nearly five years.
Charges are pending.
