Traffic note for anyone driving around Ankeny starting Wednesday:
The intersection of Northeast Trilein Drive and Northeast 36th Street will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic starting this week.
And, better get used to it, 36th Street will stay shut down until late summer or early fall.
Officials say they're working to increase traffic capacity and mobility because of the tremendous growth the corridor has experienced over the last five years.
