Three dogs died after being left in a locked vehicle in the heat last weekend.
Ottumwa Police say four dogs found in the car, two were dead, the other two were taken to a local veterinary clinic, but only one dog survived.
The car was parked outside the Southeastern Iowa Kennel Club Dog Show that was held Sunday in Ottumwa.
