At a recent meeting of the Oskaloosa city council, an atheist gave the invocation. On the air, I compared the promotion of atheism to setting up a booth to tell people NOT to run a 5K. How do you promote the existence of nothing? (Unless you are promoting Seinfeld).
Well this has upset a writer contributing a page called, ironically, The Friendly Atheist, who calls my comments "idiotic" and says that atheists are fighting an effort by Christians to take over the government.
