Pokemon Go Being Sued For Disastrous Gaming Festival

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Niantic, creators of the popular Pokemon Go game, for a failure of a festival. The Pokémon Go Fest was held in Grant Park in Chicago last Saturday. It was in celebration of the release of the game on its one year anniversary. When the game first launched it was a huge success with millions of players worldwide.

Around 20,000 Pokemon fans flew in from across the world to be apart of a one-of-a-kind experience, where players could interact with players from around, go to special events, and get special gifts and prizes, including many exclusive characters and aspects within the game. However, the festival was a bust from the beginning.

The line to get into the festival was over three miles long. The charging stations were flooded and in the middle of large puddles. Many were nervous to charge their devices. Also, the company didn't consider the large amount of attendees, which immediately overwhelmed and crashed the wifi. Then the ones that could get a connection, notices many flaws within the game itself.
