A Cambridge, Iowa man was killed in a head-on crash in Story County shortly before six this morning.
The Story County Sheriff's Office says 60-year old John King was driving eastbound on Highway 210, near 610th Avenue, southeast of Cambridge.
Authorities say King's Dodge Durango crossed the center line and crashed into a westbound GMC Yukon, driven by Ronda Birchmier. King was pronounced dead at the scene. Birchmier was taken by helicopter to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Her injuries are considered non-life threatening.
