The City of Urbandale is renaming its Walker Johnston Park Soccer field "Martin Field" in honor of fallen Urbandale Police Officer Justin Martin.
City officials held a ribbon cutting tonight in conjunction with the Urbandale Police Department's annual "National Night Out" festivities.
Martin, and Des Moines Police Sergeant Tony Beminio were both killed while on duty, Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016.
