UPDATE: Des Moines police say 49 year old Shawn Davis stabbed his brother to death early Saturday morning.
Sgt. Paul Parizek says officers were called early Saturday morning after a fight at 56th and Meredith Avenues. They arrived to find that 35 year old Preston Davis had been stabbed. He was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center and later died of his injuries.
Witnesses say they was a family fight inside the home and Shawn Davis stabbed his brother. He was arrested and charged with first degree murder. Bond was set at $1,000,000.
